Inspiration.

my Chinese teacher's quotes or short stories have always inspired me.
there was once she told us about this.

" 择善而固执"

short but damn meaningful. TO ME lar.=)
i wonder how many ppl in class remember this few phrases.
or even didn't know teacher say this before.
HAHA

it means.
you pick something good or positive. which you like or interested in.
to insist on. to have strong will with.

what was the best birthday present you've received so far?
I had My own answer without using a single second to recall the passed birthdays.

It's May.

IT'S MAY.

I changed the light of ma room.
from the yellow one to white.

last time i chose to put the orange light was because.
the tone was warmer.
but it isn't ideal to work under this kinda tone of light.
because it's dimer.

I always couldn't do my homework or work in the room.
always got tired and sleepy easily.


A NEW START OFF Jimmy

My first Achievement in Photography.

surprisingly.
I got the FIRST PRIZE in
Nikon Photo Contest (A Celebration of Colours, Culture and Heritage)
with this photo.



but under 18 category only lar. = D
and Dash ZY got 2nd !

actually this category is easier to win lar.
because you see. there were total of 1.6k entries.
1.4k entries for open category,
then only 200+ for under 18 category.

then you'll realize that the quality of photos in open category
was good, even until the consolations.
but in under 18 category,
the quality wasn't so okay. (except mine and ZY's lar = D )

first of all.
I'd like to thank KL Tan, our club's instructor.
from the first day I involved myself in photography.
he had been teaching me so much.
and it's him who brought us to the orang asli village.
that's how I captured this first prized photo.

secondly,
Mr Lim Meng Lock, my dad.
lol. who bought me my first DSLR in the year end of 2008.

and of course.
a big thank you to Chong Hwa Independent High School.
which gave me an opportunity to join the Photography Club.
